Teen Book Festival

I just finished a wonderful book by Susan Wiggs - The Apple Orchard. Have you ever read a book that you wanted to devour and savor the words, but at the same time you stopped yourself from reading just to prolong the experience? The Apple Orchard is a wonderfully written book with history, relationships, discovery and all written with prose that is so vivid it is spectacular.

Now on to the Teen Book Festival! The TBF is an annual event in Rochester, NY held at Nazareth
College. For the last 8 years this conference has grown in popularity and has highlighted bringing teen readers and authors together.  Sometimes teens are a neglected audience for authors and the TBF brings popular authors to a conference in which teens can mingle, ask questions, and have books signed with some of their favorites!

Last year nearly 3000 teens attended the conference!

Click here for a list of authors.  If you are a teen author, you may want to think about getting involved is this popular conference.

That's it according to Maddy~
